Shy music-loving Adam McGlinn the new kid in town gets talked into going on a youth group retreat. He reluctantly agrees and arrives guitar in hand. Adam not only grows close to this new community of friends but feels a spiritual connection to God. In his new fervor Adam resolves to start a Christian band at his public high school only to discover that this new friends have returned to their routines his parents don't get it and his sister Emily makes fun of him. Discouraged Adam wonders if his encounter with God was just an illusion. This powerful drama relates to scripture the Transfiguration when Christ's disciple wished that they too could stay on the mountaintop. The inspirational song featured in the film "Author of my Life" was written by Paulina Cerrilla especially for this production. Paulina plays the character of Cristina in the film. DVD 28 minutes.
